My wife and 2 kids are looking to start a home church or a home fellowship in our area. We are baptized and filled with the power of the Holy Spirt. We are believers who want to take God at his word and want to build each other up in Christ and be led by the Holy Spirit, just as the early church did in the first century. We don't want to limit the work the Holy Spirit wants to do in ourselves and in others. So, we plan on hearing from the Holy Spirit every meeting and doing his will. We have 2 elementary age children that would be apart of this group. We believe that it is important for children to be apart of this process because the Holy Spirit can speak to our children just as much as he can speak to us. A great book that represents the type of home church we want to be is "Jesus Unveiled" by Keith Giles.
